David Raanan, M.A. is an impassioned real estate broker, investor, and developer based in Las Vegas!
David's penchant for excellence and sunny disposition, coupled with his innate ability to build meaningful relationships, allowed him to distinguish himself within the highly competitive arena of celebrity public relations before he made the natural transition into real estate.
As a freshman at the University of Central Florida (the 2017 National Champions), David began working as a promotions assistant at the wildly popular Orlando radio station 98.9 WMMO. As lead on myriad radio remotes throughout the greater Central Florida area, David was responsible for executing high-level, on-site events for Fortune 500 advertisers including Sprint, Verizon Wireless and Ford Motor Company. Less then a year into his position at WMMO, former prominent artist manager/concert promoter and president of Powerhouse USA, David "DP" Preschel, approached David about joining his leading team of advertising and public relations professionals within the Orlando and Atlanta markets. As publicist, David crafted press releases for clientele and buttressed his talent relation skills by working on television commercial sets, concerts, special events and music video shoots.
Upon completing his sophomore year at UCF, David accepted a summer internship at MTV Network's headquarters in Times Square, New York. As an intern in the Music & Talent Relations department, David assisted at artist photo shoots, interviews, and music meetings while playing an integral role in the encoding process for newly premiered music videos on MTV.com. At the completion of his internship, David was asked to travel to Los Angeles to assist performing/presenting talent at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. His execution of duties held David in high regard among his peers and is the reason he was invited back by talent departments to work numerous award shows including the Grammy Awards, MTV Movie Awards, Billboard Awards, BET Awards and countless others. He has worked with Jay Z, Ariana Grande, Young Jeezy, Pharrel, Slipknot, Lil Kim, Emma Watson, Lil Wayne, T.I., P Diddy, and Rick Ross, among many others. In 2009, during his senior year of college, David completed simultaneous internships within the music and marketing departments at E! Networks and Atlantic Records in Los Angeles.
In 2010, shortly after graduating with his bachelor of arts in advertising/public relations, David was hired as the VIP Relations Manager for Lady Gaga and her Monster Ball Tour: one of the top 15 highest-grossing tours of all time. In this role, David coordinated post-concert meet & greets for Lady Gaga, managed credentialing for the artist's guests, and aided in logistics and timely movement of her entourage and management team.
After touring, David played a public relations role within boxing icon Floyd Mayweather's premiere sports and entertainment company, Mayweather Promotions. He developed social media plans resulting in a significant growth of followers and worldwide brand awareness; planned, fundraised, and executed the second annual Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation Back to School Giveaway charity event, developed an application and criteria for the launch of the annual Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation Scholarship for the Advancement of Women in Sports & Entertainment, and acts as a ghostwriter for Floyd Mayweather, the highest-paid athlete in professional sports (2017).
David's journey from entertainment to real estate has taught him invaluable lessons, affording him the opportunity to provide a level of care and value to high net worth buyers, sellers, and real estate investors that cannot be matched.
A proud New Yorker born on Long Island and raised in Palm Beach, Florida, David earned his Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He cherishes his family and friends, solitary moments in the gym, and the wisdom gleaned from TED talks and commencement addresses.
